Our passion for home is generational
It all started with a pitcher and washbasin that sat on top of my grandmothers refrigerator for the length of my childhood. Every holiday and special memory at my grandmothers house has a picture of that blue and white ceramic piece that sat as the pinnacle of her kitchen decor for decades. That same wash basin and pitcher now sit atop a hutch in the entry way of my home. It stands there ever watchful, waiting to greet visitors as they enter. And every time I walk in my front door, I smile thinking about those special memories with my grandmother. That's what home should feel like; a story being told through generations that wraps around us like a warm hug. That's why I started Plum and Pine. To offer a different alternative than big-box online retailers to furnish our homes. To offer pieces that spark joy and create a "collected" feel. To hope that those same pieces you gather here will be passed down for generations to come.
